1 Simple Way To Get Unstuck

Sometimes we have to stop doing the same thing because it is not working for us.  It is the default button and it no longer serves us.


I hit that point this week with my own practice.  I “exercise” with the mantra of no harm intended.  My body likes the kind of movements that are nourishing rather than depleting.  I, also,  knew I needed to change things up a bit.  When I asked the universe, it responded with Bootcamp.  I am not one to be a huge advocate of these types of workouts for myself.  However, I knew this would take me out of my comfort zone and then also switch things up for my body as well as my mind.  


So I didn't sign up for the traditional Boot Camp. My yoga instructor (@ellenweberforman @pranamoonyogis) whom I have known for 9 years began this group during the pandemic.  It is a great introduction to interval training mixed in with yoga sequences and you can move at your own pace and modify as needed.  The group meets at 6:30 AM on Zoom.  Now for me, 6:30 AM is an ungodly hour.  I am more of a night owl…just another way to get me out of my normal habits.


Sometimes, in order to find the real you, we need to step outside, observe, and make the next right choice for ourselves in this moment.
