5 Fertility Supplements For Men

🎵It Takes Two To Make A Thing Go Right🎵

All the ways women prepare for pregnancy should be the same for men:  Supplements, diet, reduce environmental toxins, alcohol consumption, dental care, etc.

In Men, infertility is defined as the inability to fertilize the ovum.  Male fertility depends upon 3 things: adequate production of spermatozoa by the testes, unobstructed transit of sperm through the seminal tract, and delivery to the ovum

In 40% of cases of male infertility, sperm abnormalities are either a factor or the factor on the condition. (The Infertility Cure, Lewis, 2004)

New research is also revealing that sperm quality may be a major contributor to recurrent miscarriage, providing all the more reason for me to do everything possible to support their sperm quality in the months before conception. (It Starts With The Egg, Fett, 2019)

Male infertility is a real thing and it accounts for up to 40-50% of infertility cases.  They found that the most significant factor contributing to probability of pregnancy was the age of the male partner. After six cycles, men aged ≥ 35 years had fertility rates of 25% compared with fertility rates of 52% in men aged < 35 years, representing a 52% decrease in fertility rate.

(Mathieu C, Ecochard R, Bied V, et al. Hum Reprod. 1995;10:1090–1097.)

Men, too, face infertility problems related to being overweight.  Seriously overweight men are 50% more likely to be infertile. (Making Babies, David and Blakeway, 2009)
